The Cutter Suction Mining Dredger is a highly efficient water-based mining equipment. It works by rotating the cutter head, which cuts through the sediment, mixing the ore with surrounding mud and water to form a slurry. The slurry is then sucked up by a powerful mud pump through a suction pipe and is transported to the mining system onboard via a discharge pipe.

Once the slurry enters the mining system, it is typically first processed through screening equipment to remove larger impurities and gravel. Afterward, the slurry undergoes various separation methods such as gravity separation, flotation, and magnetic separation, depending on the characteristics of the ore. This helps to separate and enrich the valuable minerals from the slurry.
